Nutrition is key to managing depression.
WebMD has a comprehensive list of 53 vitamins and supplements suggested to help ease depression, with their effectiveness rated based on scientific studies.

For example, melatonin is likely ineffective, lavender is possibly effective, and lemon balm has insufficient evidence at this point.
