Good Morning! It's a day of great promise!
Marijuana, CBD Oil and Depression
This Century's "V-Day"
Virus, Vaccine, Victory. The first doses of COVID-19 vaccine were dispensed yesterday in England, and are expected to be available in America within two weeks. Will you take the vaccine when it's offered? I know I will!
Tip of the Day
Change your state of being – even in some small way like eating, moving, drinking a glass of water or breathing intentionally – and you can begin to change your state of mind.
In honor of Bob Dylan's record-breaking sale of the rights to his songbook, let me just mention that perhaps one option for treating chronic depression is simply that "everybody must get stoned."
Well, maybe they can skip the high but still get the relief from using CBD Oil. The jury's still out, but anecdotal evidence is strong that CBD eases depression.
"CBD is cannabidiol. It is one of almost 200 cannabinoids that can be found in marijuana plants. Unlike many other cannabinoids, CBD is not psychoactive and has a different pharmacologic profile than other psychoactive cannabinoids. CBD can be extracted from both marijuana plants and from hemp." (The Anxiety and Depression Association of America)
It's legal in all 50 states of the USA.
In many clinical tests CBD Oil has proven successful in reducing and managing chronic pain. However, studies about its effectiveness in treating depression have not shown quite as much promise. On the other hand, if your chronic pain is eliminated that may have profound effect on your depression.
As for smoking marijuana, many people believe that eases depression, as well, and it is legal in a growing number of states.
Have a wonderful day!
